I’m interested in performing in one of the open mic-nights. As a Brooklyn based hip-hop artist that goes to NYU, I have a crowd in the area the will come out and support wherever I perform. My music is found here: http://soundcloud.com/radamiz
I’ve released 2 previous mix tapes, and am working on the next one right now.
    For more information, my manager’s # is (714) 337-3957
    Looking forward to performing!

Thanks for hitting us up Radamiz, you should definitely come out to rock at the open-mic on a Sunday. Doors are at 8pm, with the show starting around 9pm. The earlier you get there, the better spot on the list you can get. Admission is $10, but if you have a large group coming you can give a shout for group discount: info@eodub.com

I also have a group with me and my brother (Garden State) who rap (pretty damn good) and I’m trying to come there tonight to perform a couple songs and see what the feel is out there for lyricists. My music and videos are in my bio on twitter. Is there a way I can contact somebody working here over the phone to ask a few questions? My number is 973-525-2985

Greetings EODUB, do people only perform original music or do you have kats come in there rhyming over industry beats for example?

    • admin February 23, 2016, 5:15 pm

People do bring industry beats, but our DJ can play records for people. Its better if you either bring original music, or rock over our DJ, but we won’t turn you away

    • yose(L)f March 18, 2016, 10:29 pm

May i bring like my sibling? she 20 & isnt trying to drink tho

How many song are you allowed to perform?

    • admin March 22, 2016, 10:29 pm

1 song, or 2 verses with the DJ

  • Dulo March 28, 2016, 10:24 am Reply

Hey just wanted to know do the performances have to be accapella or can we bring an instrumental and if so in what form should the Instrumental be given

    • admin April 15, 2016, 6:48 pm

No, we definitely prefer if you rock over a beat. You can either rock over an instrumental provided by our DJ, or if you have your own music produced, you can bring your own music on any digital playback device (phone, etc) that has a headphone output. Please don’t bring an industry beat though, our DJ can provide you with something.

you should come through any Sunday night and rock. The last Sunday nights of the month have larger events with only 10 performance slots though, so make sure to get there early.

  • Yaboiilex April 7, 2016, 1:42 am Reply

What is the email to register?

    • admin April 15, 2016, 6:45 pm

You have to register at the venue by arriving early. Doors at 8pm.

  • JayWills April 13, 2016, 9:31 pm Reply

Is the last Sunday of the month for the open mic as well or is there something else going on those nights?

    • admin April 15, 2016, 6:43 pm

We have special events like the MC Challenge and headlining perfomers on the last Sunday of every month but still have the open-mic, but only have 10 spots on those events, so you have to make sure to get there early. (definitely before 8pm).

  • Milah Jae April 14, 2016, 2:31 pm Reply

Is this just for rappers or can vocalists come through too? New to CT, from Detroit and lookin’ to rock here in NY. If not here, got recommendations for me? 🙂

    <3 Milah

    • admin April 15, 2016, 6:42 pm

It is definitely mostly MCs but you are welcome to stop by, some vocalists/singers occasionally rock and definitely get support

  • Simon ng April 14, 2016, 8:35 pm Reply

Do you currently still have open mic djing? Can I bring my own laptop/cdj or I have to use the house one? Is there a way to guarantee a slot? I don’t want to go all the way to your awesome establishment and there are no slots left.

    • admin April 15, 2016, 6:41 pm

If you get to the venue early enough (8pm) you can talk with the staff and soundman about maybe using some of your own gear. There is a DI box on stage as well as a mini-stereo cable. Also if you are that early you should not have a problem getting a spot on the list.

Can you please tell me what DJ program is provided and the DJ controller model? I’m going to familiarized myself with the layout before coming

      Come through any Sunday!

  • apollo June 15, 2016, 5:21 pm Reply

Can a lyricist with little stage experience sign up for the open mics? I only ask because the majority of the posts seems to come from people who already have mix tapes, videos, etc.
Basically, is this a place where I can put myself out there to see how my work is received and grow from there, or will “the executioner” come out to shoo me off stage?

    • admin July 15, 2016, 12:52 pm

Nah you are welcome to come work on your craft, that is why we are there

  • Classic June 24, 2016, 2:14 pm Reply
